Fan Lei joined StormHarbour in July 2019 as Managing Director of the Asset Management Division. Fan has 13 years of experience in the finance and investment banking industries in both Hong Kong and China. Prior to joining StormHarbour, Fan was the Managing Director at Lerthai Capital Group Limited from 2017 to 2019. Before that, he was the Managing Director at Grand Cartel Securities Limited from 2015 to 2017. He gained extensive local management experience from working in those financial institutions in Hong Kong.
Before relocating to Hong Kong, Fan was the Investment Director at PKU Healthcare Industry Fund in Beijing, China from 2014 to 2015. From 2012 to 2014, he was the Vice President at Founder Securities Co. Ltd., in Beijing, China. Prior to that, he was the Investment Manager at CITIC Trust Co. Ltd., Beijing, China from 2011 to 2012. Fan gained extensive and hands-on experience from leading the team and actual participation in the due diligence process, corporate valuation and transactions structuring from those employments.
Fan holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University and a Bachelor of Bachelor of Arts in Education from the Huaqiao University in Xiamen, China.
