Johnson Wong is a banking and treasury specialist with over 20 year’s solid experience in global financial markets. During his tenure at DBS Bank, he managed the sales team for blue-chips and large corporations with an annual sales turnover of HK$5 billion. He also has extensive experience in dealing with banks, financial institutions and government authorities.
In the ESG space, he developed business initiatives in ESG-related derivatives and worked closely together with the DBS Debt Capital Market team to tailor-made green financing solutions for bond issuers. In November 2020, Johnson completed the first IRS linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Hong Kong.
Johnson assisted DBS Bank in the process of nomination of Asia Risk Award and the DBS HK was awarded the Derivative House of the Year, Hong Kong in 2012 & the Regional House of the Year, Singapore from 2016 to 2019. He was selected as a management candidate to join the 2011 Global Leader Program organized by Temasek Group.
Johnson obtained a Master's degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in Australia and a bachelor degree with Mathematics major and Statistics minor from University of Alberta in Canada.
